Our Story
Guelph Solar was started in 2006 by a group of citizens who were committed to bringing community owned solar powered projects to Guelph. It then became an incorporated body in June, 2011.
Over the past five years, Guelph Solar has acquired knowledge and experience in the areas of community advocacy, business model development, and public policy on alternative energy.
With recent funding for co-operative development, Guelph Solar is now building on this experience to install panels on rooftops throughout the City of Guelph.
